WPC/AWPC AGM Rule Updates (2 of 4)

WPC Canada

The second Changes update concerns a change to the rulebook. Under the section Costume and Personal Equipment, number 10, called Plasters, a) the reference to being able to use 2 layers of plasters on the thumbs has been removed. This section now describes application of bandages, plasters etc. only in the event of an injury. To be clear how we will interpret this section in Canada now, the application of anything to the body is to be applied directly to an injury that has occurred at the competition or in the recent past. Use of physio tape etc. will not be allowed in Canadian competitions, including WPC sanctioned competitions.
